The Distal tibial Pilon locking plate is specifically designed for the treatment of complex fractures of the distal tibia (pilon fractures). These fractures occur at the bottom of the shinbone (tibia) and can be challenging to manage due to the involvement of the ankle joint.

The Distal tibial Pilon Locking Plates are part of the Locking Compression Plate (LCP) system, which combines the benefits of traditional compression plates with locking screws. The plates are made of stainless steel or titanium and have a low-profile design to reduce soft tissue irritation.
